Losing files from a portable device is a very common occurrence due to hardware malfunctions or human failures, such as formatting the device without making a backup. This program allows you to scan your portable devices (USB flash drives, memory sticks, SD cards and more) to detect the recoverable files, and of course, to recover the ones you want.

The program shows a splash screen describing the three easy steps you need to follow to recover your files. First, you need to select the device you want to scan. Although the program's name implies that you only can recover data from cards and portable devices, you can also do so from your hard drive. You can fine-tune the search process by specifying the type of files you want to recover by using the Advanced mode. Here, you can select if you want to look for image, video, audio or all types of files.

Once you have followed Step 1, you only need to click on the Scan button. In general, the program works fast, but its speed will depend on the size of your device and on the power of your system. Finally, the program will show a screen listing the recoverable files it has found.

The shareware version allows you to scan your device to detect the recoverable files, and to preview the files found. However, it does not allow you to recover any of them. To do so, you will need to purchase the program's license.
